Therapeutic Nature Connection Retreat Days
Led by Tom Veck, these retreats are a chance to leave your life behind and get some breathing space for a day as we find stillness & presence, grounding in the here and now. Some experience of meditation and mindfulness is helpful. The day will have moments of silence, moments of talking or listening, moments of connecting with nature, moments of reflection and a safe feeling of community togetherness. Some retreats will include optional Mindful Owl Handling - an amazing opportunity to spend up to half an hour in quiet contemplation whilst holding a trained owl with a professional handle present. All refreshments will be provided and we will end the day with a delicious shared meal. All retreat days happen on weekends in venues in or near the towns of Frome, Shepton Mallet and Trowbridge.
Led by Barbara Gonzalez, these retreat days give you the much needed opportunity for space, stillness and reflection. The days may be themed around nature's cycles or an aspect of personal development that is supported by our intrinsic connection to nature.
You don't need any prior experience of mindfulness to enjoy connecting with nature as Barbara will offer you simple yet powerful practices that you can take away into your daily life. These days are fully catered so that you come away feeling nourished, both physically and spiritually. They take place on weekends in different venues surrounding Frome, Trowbridge and Shepton Mallet.
